About
Who makes Abriu
Abriu is a facial recognition access control system made for condominiums, built and looked after by a small team that follows every installation closely.
The product
What Abriu is
Hikvision face recognition terminals at the doors, a hub installed on the condominium's network and a cloud dashboard for the building manager, the property management company and the front desk. Residents get in by face, card, fingerprint or PIN; visitors with an invitation carrying a PIN or a QR code; contractors with their own enrollment and an expiry.
The doors keep working without internet, because recognition happens on the terminal itself. The enrollment, the photos and the history stay on the condominium's hub, and the backup leaves it encrypted, every day.
How it is made
How Abriu is built
Equipment the market knows
The terminals are Hikvision, which any access control installer knows and can source. Compatible terminals the condominium already has are reused, with their records imported.
One hub per condominium
Each condominium has its own hub, on its own network, with its own data. Nothing sits on a server shared with other customers, and the hub connects to the cloud from the inside out, with no ports opened on the router.
Monitoring and transparency
Our monitoring center checks each condominium every 5 minutes and alerts the team when something is off. Every condominium has a public status page its residents can open.
Updates without a visit
New versions arrive on their own, with a backup first and a rollback if anything does not go as expected. The team can act remotely, through secure access, without a visit for every adjustment.
Who is behind it
A small team, close to every condominium
Henrique Weiand
Founder of Abriu
Abriu is developed and run by Henrique Weiand, a software engineer, who builds the system, the dashboard and the monitoring center and follows every installation. The person writing the blog is the one answering support.
Where we are
How to reach us
Abriu is run by Henrique Weiand Ltda, in Brazil. There is no storefront: the installation happens at the condominium, and support is remote, with a visit when needed.
For a proposal, talk to sales through the form or on WhatsApp. Customer condominiums open tickets from their own dashboard, on its Support page.
